Blogging And Trainee Teachers' Professional Development

BLOGGING AND TRAINEE TEACHERS' PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Writing of blogs is a reasonably new phenomenon. Even teacher trainers, teachers and trainee teachers are coming to understand the phenomenon of blogging. This development gives more cause for considering blogging as part of our trainee teacher's course work and professional development. Studies indicate that teacher trainers enjoy blogging and it was found to be useful by their instructors. They observed that their trainee teacher found blogging easy and recommended it for future use.

My opinion about Blogs and Blogging.

As we know blog is a ' web page that serves as a publicaly accessible personal journal for and individual. Writing blog is a better way for me to express my feeling about many things. It helps me in writing skills because when I usually writes in blogs, it can improve my English Language either in reading or writing. As I know, blogs and blogging are the purpose of study. This is age where I will build my professional reputation word by word. It was amazed to create my own blog. It need our creativity on how to create our own blog.

There are some advantages and disadvantages about blogs.

Advantages.

Writing blogs can give many benefit for us. Blogging is to be useful in our learning process. It can help us to more understand what we are learning abou. Besides, it can gives us opportunity on how to share our ideas with another person. Writing our own blog can give us a chance to communicate with our lecturer without worry that other person will know. It give us the opportunity to say things that we would not have ask questions that would not have asked or sometimes we feel uncomfortable to talk about something personals in face to face dicussions. Blogging also gave us opportunity to express to our opinions, share ideas and help us to develop our confidence.

Disadvantages

Most people don't have very much to say that interesting or unable to write down our ideas in a compelling and clear manner. I have often found that the people who have much time to write here, least to say, and the people who have most to say don't have enough time to write it. Thus, the real expertise within the organization lays hidden, as you get drowned in trivia.

Beyond Concordance Lines: Using Concordance To Investigate Language Development.

On my 9, Language and ICT lecture focused on the topic of concordance program. It was a new experience for us as students when we were first introduced to this topic which is quite new to us. In our second posting of blog, we are given with a task to accomplish. We need to make a summary about "Beyond Concordance Lines : Using Concordance To Investigate Language Development which is in the text book page 70.

From our reading, we conclude that concordance help much in analyzing words. Concordance is very useful in language teaching and learning. However, there are still weakness in this program because it is not that easy to analyze huge amount of data available. This chapter talks about the relevance of corpus data in investigating language development without being to analyze concordance lines.

Based on the research in this article which taken from EMAS Corpus collection in 2002. Concordance and analyzing indicate same form of development of language production vocabulary range and sophistication. We can also analyzed corpus data to inform language educators of language development. All in all, concordance lines are very useful in analyzing words.

From the text, we can analyze the word such as "the,a, language, and and are usually used to described noun and adjective.

the present day : adjective

the Malaysian learners : noun
